Ira
Dorfman is an associate with our firm and concentrates his
practice in construction law litigation.
Prior
to joining our firm, Ira was an Assistant District Attorney
for six years with the Queens County District Attorney’s
Office in
New York
. While working as a prosecutor, Ira handled cases in
the Criminal Court Bureau, Appeals Bureau, Homicide
Investigations Bureau, and the Career Criminal Major Crime
Trial Bureau. He tried fifteen felony jury trials to
verdict and argued before the Appellate Division, Second
Department six times. Ira was also the lead
investigator and a member of the prosecution trial team in
the second Capital Case to be prosecuted in Queens
County
