The New Jersey legislature has enacted strict laws governing the payment process on construction projects.  These laws affect contractors and owners alike.  Some laws are applicable to all projects, others are applicable to only certain types.  Regardless of your roll in the construction project, there are certain laws that specifically apply to you.  At Berkowitz and Associates, P.C., we work with these laws every day.
